Laura’s relationship with color began long before The Necklace Studio. Her grandmother was an artist who loved pattern, flowers and colored gemstones, and rarely went without strands of gemstone beads around her neck.
Laura developed that instinct through a lifetime of making, painting and noticing color everywhere. And then she learned the science behind the stones.
Laura’s artistic instinct tells her what belongs together. Her gemological training tells her what she’s looking at. The Necklace Studio lives at the intersection of the two.

Work one on one with me to create a necklace around the colors and stones you’re drawn to. Custom necklaces range from 16 to 34 inches and run $400 to $700. Your completely custom gemstone necklace will be ready in just 2-3 weeks.
