FAQs

Can I choose my own gemstones?
I’ll do my best to bring your vision to life using the gemstones we have in stock. If I have the colors or stones you're looking for, I’m happy to incorporate them into your custom design.
I know my favorite colors but will they work together in a necklace?
Not all colors work perfectly, but variations of colors do. This is where the design magic happens. If you’d like help choosing the best colors for you (or someone else) we can design something custom together. Inquire here.
How do I figure out what my favorite colors mean?
Color theory is fascinating! Be sure to check out our color page for information on color and emotions.
How do I tell my color story?
Think about what colors you wear, or the packaging and labels in stores that tend to catch your eye. What colors do you have in your home? You’ll start to notice a pattern. The colors you naturally gravitate to are usually your favorites.
I am not used to wearing a lot of color, is there a good way to start?
Start simply. Try a necklace with only one color. Or wear a necklace with colors that don’t have a lot of contrast. Try experimenting with all pale or all saturated and it won’t be too busy or bright.
How long does a custom necklace take to make?
Custom orders ship one week after design approval.
Do I get to approve the design before it’s made?
Yes—I’ll send you a photo of the necklace (before hand knotting) for your approval before I begin production.
Are custom orders returnable?
Because each piece is made just for you, custom orders are final sale. But I’ll do everything I can to ensure you love it.
Can you remake a necklace I saw in your shop or on Instagram?
I’m happy to recreate past designs whenever possible! Due to bead availability, your piece may have slight variations—but it will still carry the same overall look of the original. Just let me know which one caught your eye!
Can you create a necklace for a special occasion or gift?
Yes! I specialize in meaningful pieces for milestones like birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, motherhood, and gifts just for you!
